I found Beth Hensperger’s “The Bread Lover’s Bread Machine Cookbook” and was trying to decide what to make first.  The recipes range from your standard white bread, to multigrain and fruit breads.  I just couldn’t decide what sounded best and thought I would go through the book, making them all, and keep track of how it went.  I don’t have the rights to any recipes, so I won’t be reposting them, but I will share what I learn, how they turn out, and where you can find them, if you own a copy of this book.  Enjoy!  (I know I will.)

I understand I may want to include some information “about” me in this section as well.  I am a single, 40-year old woman.  I live in Long Beach, Washington with my dog and cats.  I have been a Washingtonian my whole life and don’t see any good reason to change that.  Yes, it may rain often here, but it is green and beautiful year round.

I was diagnosed a few years ago with Crohn’s Disease.  There is no known cause, and no cure, but I am being treated and, with dietary restrictions, I try to keep my symptoms from getting out of control.  I also have Social Anxiety Disorder.  I don’t even know how to explain that one, it sounds ridiculous and makes me feel bad when I try.

I am living the best life I can, with the parameters I have at this point.  I am excited to do this project.  I think any purpose can be a good thing.
